Gauverband Announcement

Submitted 08 May 2006 - The biennial Delegates Meeting of Gauverband Nordamerika was hosted by STV Bavaria Cleveland at their beautiful Vereinsheim in a Cleveland suburb. A "Vergelt's Gott" goes out to STV Bavaria for being such wonderful hosts!

A more detailed report of events will be included in the next "Gauzeitung." In the meantime, here are the results of elections and selections. Board members who are completely new to the board (as opposed to those who changed jobs) are marked with an asterisk.

Submitted 18 Feb 2006. At the upcoming Delegate's Meeting in Cleveland, applications for the 2008 Delegates' Meeting will be considered. Member Vereine are encouraged to submit bids. For more information about hosting a Delegate's Meeting, check out the updated guidelines (link). 

Submitted 2 July 2005. The instructions and sheet music for Rehberger Landler, taught at the 20. Gaufest Saturday dance workshop, are now available on our site.  

Submitted 14 May 2005. A new version of the Bylaws, Rules & Guidelines of the Gauverband Nordamerika has been uploaded to the website. About Us->Bylaws 

Submitted 19Apr2005 by Karin Dean Kraft, Gau Bibliothekarin. A few years ago the Isargau in Bayern produced a fantastic 4-CD set of music with 104 Plattler and Volkstaenze played by various music groups. The music is excellent. The set sold out quickly and was no longer available from the Isargau. Last year, Gauverband Nordamerika received permission from the Isargau to reproduce the CDs ourselves to offer our members.
