Gauverband Nordamerika
We are a member club of the
Gauverband Nordamerica (Bavarian regioanla organization of North America).
The Gauverband Nordamerika is an International organization fostering
the promotion of Bavarian and Tirolean Dance, Costume, and Culture.
This organization is a parent club to aproximately
80 schuhplattler groups around the United States and Canada.
The Gauverband Nordamerika holds a biannual Gaufest at one of the member club locations
around the July 4 holiday weekend during odd numbered years.
You do not need to be a member of a Gauverband club to attend
and it is worth attending to see the 2000+ people coming to celebrate
the dances, costume, songs and music of Bavaria and Tirol.
