Gauverband Nordamerika has a New Webmaster!
Submitted: 25Nov2003,  By: Erech Morrison

Welcome to Kirk Cramer, the Gauverband's new webmaster. Kirk is a Trachtler who lives in Dallas, Texas, and is the Gau's third webmaster. He is well versed in website work and is looking forward to fulfilling his commitment to the Gauverband.

Glenn Call, webmaster for the past two years, has done a great job of restructuring our site and on the many technical aspects of maintaining a website - the type of maintenance that website visitors don't give a second thought to! He now has a new responsibility as Maestro of Greece Concert Orchestra, a 55-member band in the Rochester, NY, area. It's a time consuming job also, which is what forced Glenn to relinquish being the Webmaster. No doubt we will still be hearing from Glenn through his contributions to the Gaunet, Goethe.net, and as a non-active member of GTEV Maple Leaf Almrausch Ottawa. Fortunately, he has promised to be "on call" to Kirk should Kirk need any assistance, just as Rich Walter did when we turned things over to Glenn. Thank you, Glenn!

It was Rich Walter's (Edelweiss Passaic) initiative and vision that designed the website in the first place, for which the Gauverband owes its deep gratitude. Rich worked on it for over six years and remains a staunch supporter of Gau objectives.

Please note that the website address is: http://www.gauverbandnordamerika.org (or ".com"). Any questions or comments you have about the website may be directed to the webmaster or to me. Suggestions and submissions (we'd sure like to see more!) are always welcome.

Mit Trachtengruss,

Erech Morrison, Chair Website Committee
